Luis Lopez
Luis owns and operates an automotive shop on Fletcher Drive, Luis Lopez Automotive. He grew up working on cars and started working with his father full-time in 1995, shortly after college. Luis is a ASE Certified mechanic and have over 25 years of automotive industry experience. He is also a member of several automotive trade groups, including the Automotive Service Councils of California and the Automotive Service Association.
In addition to fixing cars, Luis also enjoys working on community issues and historic preservation. He is a long-time community volunteer, has deep roots in Atwater's small business community, and is active in local civic life. He has served as a FAV board member since 2005. He also serves on the board of Atwater’s Chamber of Commerce, and is a co-author of a history book on Atwater Village.
