Preserving Atwater Village History

 Atwater Village History Exhibit

The Atwater Village Branch Library, located at 3379 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039, is home to a permanent History Exhibit curated and maintained by Friends of Atwater Village (FAV). This dedicated History Room preserves and showcases a rich collection of documents, photographs, and artifacts that capture the story of Atwater Village’s heritage.

At the heart of the space is the permanent exhibit, which features rotating displays highlighting different eras, themes, and aspects of Atwater Village’s past. From early neighborhood development and community traditions to stories of local families, schools, and businesses, each rotation brings a fresh perspective on the people and events that shaped the neighborhood.

Open to the public during the library’s regular business hours, the Atwater Village History Exhibit is a community treasure—an engaging destination for anyone wishing to explore, learn, and connect with the living history of Atwater Village.
